Job Description

DescriptionPlan works and organise all site enabling activities.Report on project progress and completions to ensure projects meet all Client standards.Ensure work programmes deliver the maximum output from teams.Ensure that the optimum method of construction is used.Ensure construction meets all standards set by Client /Customer.Complete all works within prescribed timescales.Work flexibly and respond effectively to emergency requirements of Clients.Manage the allocation of labour, ensuring best for task, monitoring and maximising production.Procure & mobilise resources (Labour, Plant & materials).Keep a close account of project costing, including purchasing, labour resources and hire, including monitoring the need for and use of hired-in plant and equipment.Coordinate site activities including management oflabourplant,materials,traffic managementassociated subcontract activities.Predict future activities to ensure required resource is available for subsequent activities.Undertake civil engineering tasks on site when acting as a working supervisor.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministration Follow company and client policies, procedures, and documents.Help improve systems to meet project needs.Submit weekly timesheets, vehicle logs, and plant logs.Complete required paperwork and electronic records on time.Inform the company immediately about any absence.Health, Safety and Environmental Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are followed on site.Complete all required health and safety documents on time.Organise work to reduce risks to people, equipment, materials, and the environment.Brief workers and subcontractors on their duties, safe working methods, and emergency procedures.Promote health and safety awareness on site.Manage and coordinate subcontractors activities.Ensure workers are trained and understand workplace hazards.Carry out regular site and equipment safety inspections.Make sure safety rules are followed and PPE is worn.Report any safety or environmental issues immediately.Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).Vehicles Follow the company vehicle policy.Keep vehicles stocked with necessary tools and equipment.Carry out monthly vehicle and plant inspections.Take and submit required site photographs.Keep vehicles and equipment in good condition.Complete safety checks and equipment audits.Report any vehicle or equipment faults immediately.Staff Management Manage team members daily work, holidays, and absences.Delegate tasks effectively.Supervise workers and subcontractors on site.Keep staff motivated and maintain good teamwork.Support staff improvement through guidance, coaching, and mentoring.Identify and recommend training needs for team members.General Communicate and work with colleagues when required.Attend internal and external meetings when needed.Complete any required job-related training and development.Provide general support to the business when required.Carry out other duties related to the role.Follow GDPR rules and keep sensitive data secure.Experience and QualificationsSMSTS or SSSTSNVQ level 3 or 4 site supervisionCSCS Gold Card3 Day First AidEUSR water hygieneSEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme)Temporary works co-ordinator or supervisorNRSWAFull UK driving licenceTraining can be provided to the successful candidateSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.Network Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
