This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking to secure a long-term position with a successful and growing business.Hours of WorkMonday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pmFriday: 7:00am - 1:00pmEarly finish every FridayFull-time hoursTemp to permanent opportunity for the right candidateThe RoleAs a MIG/TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from engineering drawings and specifications. You will be working with a variety of metals in a busy fabrication environment, ensuring all work meets quality standards.Duties IncludeMIG and TIG welding to a high standardWelding aluminium, zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous metalsFabricating and assembling metal componentsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsProducing both bespoke and batch workGrinding, linishing and finishing welded productsInspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are metMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience as a MIG/TIG WelderExperience welding aluminium is essentialExperience working with zinc, stainless steel, mild steel and other metals is highly desirableAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsGood attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workAble to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual and committed to long-term workSuccessful candidates will be required to complete an on-site practical MIG/TIG weld test as part of the interview process.
