Temporary Finance AssistantLocation: HullSalary: Up to £32,000, dependent on experienceContract: Temporary, 3–4 monthsHours: Full-time, Monday to FridayConsortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with our client to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant for a period of 3–4 months.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a busy and supportive team, taking responsibility for a varied range of transactional finance, credit control and reconciliation duties.The OpportunityAs Temporary Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:Preparing sales invoices and raising credit notesProducing weekly supplier payment runsManaging aged debt and carrying out credit control activityResponding to customer account queries and resolving payment issuesPreparing and submitting VAT returnsReconciling self-billing accounts and overrider paymentsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date financial recordsProviding ad-hoc finance support to the senior management teamAbout YouWe are looking for someone with:Previous experience within a finance, accounts assistant or transactional accounting roleExperience of sales invoicing, supplier payments and credit controlConfidence managing customer queriesStrong accounting software and general IT literacyExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsA proactive, reliable and collaborative approachHow to ApplyThis Temporary Finance Assistant opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment.
