This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.The Role As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical expert for our customers, delivering service excellence and ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you'll support service delivery, system optimisation and future upgrade opportunities.This is a mobile role covering the Central Belt of England, from the Midlands through to Peterborough.What You'll Be Doing Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systemsDiagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficientlyConfiguring and commissioning controllers and network-level devicesModifying software and maintaining accurate system documentationProducing service reports and recommendationsBuilding strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisorSupporting upgrade and lifecycle projectsPromoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologiesMaintaining the highest standards of health, safety and complianceWhat We're Looking For min 3 years' experience within BMS, Building Controls or AutomationStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience in a customer-facing service environmentGood IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeFull UK Driving LicenceAbility to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rotaHNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)What We Offer Competitive salaryCompany service vehicleOvertime opportunities and standby allowance paid on top of base salary25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysHoliday Purchase SchemePension scheme (up to 7% employer contribution)Life assurance (3x salary), EAP and referral programmeDiscount on Johnson Controls security productsExtensive training and development opportunitiesStructured career progression pathwaysCommitment to employee wellbeing through our Zero Harm philosophyReady to take the next step in your BMS career?
