Logistics Improvement Manager Stoke-on-Trent | Circa £55,000 + Bonus | Hybrid Working | SAP EWM EnvironmentMeridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturer for a Logistics Improvement Manager to join their Stoke-on-Trent operation. The focus, however, is on excelling in this role and becoming a trusted member of the site leadership team.As Logistics Improvement Manager , you will lead initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance and operational performance across warehousing, distribution and supply chain activities.Key responsibilities include:Leading logistics and operational improvement projects from planning through to implementationDriving continuous improvement using Lean principles, process mapping and value stream analysisMonitoring KPIs, identifying trends and implementing solutions to improve performanceSupporting ISO and BSI audits and maintaining compliance with quality standardsManaging process documentation and promoting best practice across the siteBuilding strong relationships with operational teams and stakeholders to successfully embed changeTo be successful as a Logistics Improvement Manager , you will have:Experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing or supply chain operationsPrevious team leadership or management experience, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from colleagues without direct line management responsibilityA track record of delivering process improvements, operational change or continuous improvement projectsKnowledge of Lean methodologies and operational excellence principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of KPI managementGood Microsoft Excel skillsSAP EWM experience would be highly advantageousThis Logistics Improvement Manager role would suit candidates currently working as a Logistics Project Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager or Operational Excellence Manager.What's in it for You?
