Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Samlesbury based role (Hybrid working 2-3 days per week)

£47.12 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35

12 Month Contract initially.
\n This is a great opportunity to work within one of the UK's leading Defence organisations based in Samlesbury. Hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office.

Knowledge:

\n
• Experience in an Airframe Design role, or equivalent 'near-neighbour' disciplines.
\n
• Experience of operating in an airframe design role, or equivalent in one or more phases of the product lifecycle.
\n
• Awareness of product lifecycle requirements and the importance of governance to product integrity.
\n

Skills:

\n
• Proficiency in a CAD system, typically CATIA V5 or equivalent toolset, with experience in a PLM system.
\n
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary integrated product development environment, influencing adjacent disciplines.
\n
• Experience of working with external customers, suppliers and partners.
\n
• Experience of managing Design tasks to meet engineering design requirements and programme requirements.
\n
• Experience in leading and guiding other Design staff.
\n
• Experience in holding a design check signature.
\n
