- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the facilities team to ensure efficient site operations. \n
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised, and resolved promptly. \n
- Support compliance with health and safety requirements, working practices, and site procedures. \n
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and site areas, identifying risks and driving corrective actions. \n
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring work is completed to required standards and within agreed timelines. \n
- Maintain accurate records for maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation. \n
- Assist with budgeting and resource planning for facilities-related activities where required. \n
- Ensure facilities services meet agreed service levels, responding effectively to site needs and escalations. \n
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure team members follow safe systems of work. \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and customer experience. \n
\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n

- Proven experience in facilities management, building services, or a similar operational leadership role. \n
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others. \n
- Sound knowledge of health and safety practices, including risk assessment and safe working procedures. \n
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing maintenance activities to completion. \n
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands. \n
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. \n
- Competent IT skills for maintaining records and using facilities systems (e.g., maintenance logs and reporting tools). \n
- Relevant qualification in facilities management, building services, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). \n
- Relevant certifications in health and safety (for example, IOSH or NEBOSH) are desirable. \n
- Working knowledge of compliance and statutory maintenance requirements for commercial sites. \n
