Senior AIT On-Board Processor Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Engineer to lead the integration and verification of advanced on-board processor hardware used in cutting-edge satellite payloads.

\n

This is an opportunity to work on complex spaceflight hardware from integration through qualification, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-profile programmes.

\n What you'll be doing

\n
    \n
  • Lead AIT activities for on-board processor hardware
  • \n
  • Integrate digital payload equipment and supporting EGSE
  • \n
  • Perform functional, performance and interface verification
  • \n
  • Support thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC/EMI and environmental testing
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain integration procedures and test documentation
  • \n
  • Commission and validate electrical ground support equipment
  • \n
  • Investigate non-conformances and support engineering reviews
  • \n
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
  • \n
\n


\n What we're looking for

\n
    \n
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Aerospace or similar Engineering discipline
  • \n
  • Experience in Assembly, Integration & Test of complex electronic or space hardware
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of digital electronics, FPGA systems and embedded hardware
  • \n
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and laboratory equipment
  • \n
  • Python scripting experience
  • \n
  • Linux and Windows experience
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  • \n

  • \n
  • Ka, Ku or X-band payloads
  • \n
  • Digital transparent processors
