Electrical ManagerAn experiencedElectrical Managerto lead our Solar PV and Electrical Division. This is ahybrid role, combining office-based coordination with occasional hands-on support on site. The primary focus is onteam oversight, operational management, system updates, certification compliance, and job planning.Youll be the central point of technical leadershipensuring our engineers are supported, our installations meet industry standards, and our workflow runs smoothly from survey to sign-off.This role is ideal for a qualified electrician or supervisor who enjoys a balance of leadership, organisation, and technical involvement.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Oversight Support, guide, and oversee the Solar PV and electrical installation teamsConduct toolbox talks, quality checks, and technical mentoringEnsure safe working practices and compliance with regulationsOperational & Administrative Management Update internal systems, job boards, and project trackersManage and chase certifications (MCS, EPVS, Building Control, DNO, etc.)Review upcoming jobs, ensuring materials, labour, and designs are readyLiaise with office staff to maintain smooth scheduling and communicationTechnical Support Provide on-the-tools assistance when required (complex installs, troubleshooting, commissioning)Review system designs and ensure installations meet Array Electrics standardsSupport fault-finding, customer queries, and post-installation checksQuality & Compliance Ensure installations meet MCS, TrustMark, and EPVS requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and sign-off processesOversee health & safety compliance across all projectsSkills & ExperienceFully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)18th Edition essential; Solar PV qualifications desirableExperience supervising or managing electrical teamsStrong understanding of Solar PV, battery storage, and domestic electrical systemsExcellent organisational and communication skillsConfident using digital systems, job management software, and certification portalsAbility to balance office duties with occasional site workWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany vehicle or allowanceTraining and development in solar, battery storage, and emerging technologiesOpportunity to shape and grow a fast-expanding divisionSupportive team culture and long-term career progressionIdeal Candidate LocationWe are looking for someonebased in Chelmsford or within a short commute, to support both office presence and regional site visits.TPBN1_UKTJ
