Today we are the #1 e-scooter service in Europe, operating in 100 cities and towns with over 400 MILLION rides to date. It has been an amazing journey and we have no intention of stopping now! With the expansion of our operations in the UK, we are now looking for a Fleet Specialist Team Lead who will be responsible for leading our warehouse- and in-field operations in London .YOUR MISSION AT VOIAs the Team Lead, you will work under the Senior Fleet Manager and report directly to them, providing support in accordance with market needs. You will manage a team of Fleet Specialists and be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service for our users and cities. Your responsibilities include overseeing the efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles, as well as swapping batteries. You will divide your time between managerial duties such as hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations for your team and performing operational tasks, whether in the warehouse or in the field, based on the business needs of the site.Team Management: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and training of Fleet SpecialistsInventory Management: oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure availability and optimal usageHealth&Safety : Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards, complete onboarding paperwork, and monitor mandatory training complianceIncident Management : Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policiesContractor Management : Supports when required the repairs and maintenance in the warehouse as needed3PLCoordination: Daily contact with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to agreed proceduresVan Management : Supports operational aspects of vans, including installation and removal of tracking devices, but not budget or planningWHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARKWe are looking for a pragmatic and responsible team-player who can fulfil tasks, solve problems independently, and work as a part of a team to find new solutions and reach set goals. In addition to being fluent in English, the right person needs:Mandatory requirement Driving licence: You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months , with no more than 6 points and no major offences , to meet our e-van insurance requirements . Licence checks will be conducted during the recruitment process.
