Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Experience Required: 1–2 years

We are seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team at a luxury Class A multifamily community. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has hands-on property maintenance experience but is still developing their technical skills and wants to continue learning from an experienced team.

The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, professional, and willing to assist with service requests, apartment turns, preventive maintenance, grounds, and general property repairs.

• Assist with resident service requests and general maintenance repairs
• Support apartment turns and make-ready work
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs
• Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and repairs under the guidance of experienced team members
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks
• Help maintain buildings, common areas, grounds, and amenities
• Respond professionally to residents and communicate maintenance updates
• Participate in emergency on-call coverage as assigned
• Follow all company safety procedures and property standards

• 1–2 years of apartment, residential, commercial, or general property maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and HVAC
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical maintenance skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Ability to complete physical maintenance duties and work both indoors and outdoors
• HVAC certification is preferred but not required
• CPO certification is a plus
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Compensation

• $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
