As a Physical Therapist in this role, you’ll work closely with a supportive team and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to provide individualized interventions and support for an elementary case load. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
  • Previous experience with pediatric and/or elementary school populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and family collaboration
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a passion for supporting student growth and independence

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor therapy goals tailored to students’ needs
  • Perform assessments, write reports, and update progress in accordance with school standards
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success in and out of the classroom
  • Provide training and guidance to staff, families, and caregivers as needed
  • Ensure ongoing, accurate documentation to comply with school and regulatory requirements
