Job Description

This full-time contract position covers a maternity leave, running from August 10th through September 30th. You’ll work closely with a caseload of 14-25 high school students, collaborating with faculty and families to create positive outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within school environments, ideally at the high school level
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students within the assigned caseload
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to planning
- Deliver counseling and support services, both individually and in groups, focusing on students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to implement interventions and monitor progress
- Maintain detailed and timely student records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
- Support ongoing student success by addressing barriers to learning and promoting positive outcomes
