Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Our organization is seeking a Unit Manager to join our team in Monsey, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all supervisory functions for the designated unit

• Assist in the development and execution of employee policies and procedures

• Guide and mentor junior nursing staff, providing clinical and career guidance

• Ensure that care standards are upheld within the unit

• Examine resident records and assess the quality of care provided

• Monitor overall care and evaluate individual resident cases

• Address inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families

• Advocate for the unit’s interests with upper management

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid RN or LPN license from the state

• Preferred: 3 years of experience in Long Term Care

• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse

• Proficient computer skills are essential

• Strong communication abilities are required
