Counselor/Social Worker

About the Role:

Seeking a qualified Counselor/Social Worker. This position requires experience in providing direct clinical services, case management, and support to justice-impacted individuals, youth, families, or community-based populations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices, alongside maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation.

Location: Columbus, OH 43235

Shift: Open Mon-Thu 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM (Occasional evenings/weekends, Sat optional)

Pay: $35-40/hr

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a mental health center, children's services, court system, or prison system
• Experience working with justice-impacted individuals, youth, families, or community-based populations preferred
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Technical Skills: Proficient in maintaining accurate clinical documentation, case notes, assessments, and progress reports
• Knowledge: Current Ohio licensure required (LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW, or equivalent)
• Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments, ongoing clinical evaluations, and individual and group counseling services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while supporting participants with coping skills and goal achievement
• Coordinate referrals to internal and external support services and advocate for participants' needs
• Monitor participant progress, adjust services as needed, and maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Complete required case notes, assessments, and progress reports in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision, case reviews, staff meetings, and trainings
• Collaborate with Program Coordinators, mentors, and support staff to support participant outcomes
