Special Education Teacher | Marysville, California

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential, appropriate for K-12 or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in a K-12 special education classroom preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for supporting students with special needs and tailoring instructional approaches

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs in accordance with their IEPs
• Develop differentiated lesson plans and classroom activities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other staff to support inclusion
• Monitor and assess student progress, updating IEPs and communicating results to families
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and meet requirements for compliance and documentation
