Position Details
Location: Bay City, TX
School Year: 2026–2027
Start Date: August 3, 2026
End Date: May 31, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Caseload: Self-Contained Classrooms
One opening will serve a 3rd–4th grade self-contained classroom.
Openings Available: 2
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP.
Foster a structured, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support student success.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation.
Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies to help students reach their full potential.
Qualifications
Active Texas Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain before the start date).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Undergraduate degree in Special Education
Ideally, a TX specialized Core license or certification
Clean background record
Must be willing and able to readily pass a full drug screening.
Fingerprinting is required by our client, as well as ProCare Therapy (Fully Reimbursible).
Experience working with students in self-contained settings is preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply!
