Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite role supports students across K-12, playing a vital part in their communication growth and academic success from August 5th through May 31st. As you transition into this position, you’ll be filling the shoes of a previous virtual SLP, stepping into a hands-on environment that values your expertise and dedication.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proper licensure/certification for school-based practice
- Experience or comfort working with K-12 students
- Adaptability and excellent communication skills
- Previous work in school settings is a plus but not required
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and staff for student support
- Maintaining clear documentation of progress and sessions
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations
- Supporting a positive, engaging learning environment for students
