Position Overview:

As a Production Worker, your task is to assemble or fit together parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench, conveyor line, or on the floor. Production may involve the use of hand tools, power tools, and special equipment to carry out fitting and assembly operations. Requires workers to develop the skills needed for average job performance after one week of on-the-job training.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to stand on your feet for a long period of time.

Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Ability to twist, bend, pull, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Skills:

Ability to read, write, and do simple calculations. Read a tape measure, rotate jobs within the dept at each position for this level with the ability to make minimal errors.

Knows what OSHA, JSA, AND SDS represent. Knows and practices general housekeeping procedures, proper care and storage of materials, plant policy on personal protective equipment. Understands attendance policy.

Forklift experience is a plus but not necessary.
