INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGIST

Position Overview:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts; no travel between locations, no on-call duties, and no weekend work!

Our organization, located in Jamestown, New York, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to become part of our growing Radiology team. This is a remarkable chance to engage in a wide array of interventional and diagnostic radiology within a supportive and collaborative environment, catering to a diverse regional population.

• State-of-the-art imaging technology and dedicated IR suites
• Six pre-procedure and six post-procedure recovery rooms
• Key Responsibilities and Clinical Impact:
  • Assist surgical services through preoperative planning and management of postoperative complications.
  • Provide vital diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for Oncology and Nephrology.
  • Enhance the Urology service line by offering surgical support and advocating for minimally invasive procedures.
  • Improve operational efficiencies by enhancing length of stay, clinical outcomes, and complication rates.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
• American Board Eligible, American Board Certified, or Canadian Board Certified in Interventional Radiology, with strong skills in cross-sectional imaging and the ability to perform a wide range of general radiology procedures.
• Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and necessary credentials.
• DEA certification.
• A dedication to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as we prioritize delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and professional setting.
