\nPosition Summary
\nUnder the direction of the supervising provider, the Float APRN/PA delivers comprehensive primary care services while rotating between multiple clinic locations. You'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a value-based healthcare environment.
\nThis position offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to care for diverse patient populations across multiple practices.
\nResponsibilities
\nAs a Float APRN/PA, you will:
\n- \n
- Provide primary care services for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. \n
- Perform routine examinations and comprehensive patient assessments. \n
- Collect, document, and maintain patient medical histories while adhering to HIPAA regulations. \n
- Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans. \n
- Prescribe medications, therapies, vaccinations, and other appropriate treatments. \n
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing. \n
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle choices. \n
- Explain diagnoses, procedures, treatment plans, and test results to patients. \n
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. \n
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, specialists, therapists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals. \n
- Perform appropriate in-clinic procedures to diagnose, repair, or improve patient health. \n
- Participate in research involving anatomy, treatments, medications, or disease prevention when applicable. \n
- Spend 100% of your time focused on direct patient care, including patient visits and related clinical documentation, charting, and care coordination. \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Master of Science in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program \n
- Board Certified \n
- Active, unrestricted Florida NP or PA license \n
- Two or more years of adult medicine experience as an NP or PA \n
- BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross) \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills \n
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills \n
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient-centered care \n
- Willingness to learn and practice within a value-based care model \n
- Superior customer service skills \n
Please Note: This is a Float Provider position requiring travel between multiple InnovaCare Health clinic locations throughout the Orlando area.
\nPreferred Qualifications

- Autonomous APRN license (Florida) \n
- DEA Certification (or ability to obtain) \n
- ACLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross) \n
- Bilingual in Spanish (Read, Write, and Speak) \n
- Experience caring for Commercial Insurance and Medicare Advantage patient populations \n
