Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Beaufort, SC

Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based environment for the 2026/2027 academic year! This role is located near Beaufort, SC and is an onsite, full-time contract position running from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. You’ll collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to provide essential support and services that empower students to achieve their communication and learning goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA license or eligibility to practice in South Carolina
• Prior experience in school settings preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Implement therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist in the development and execution of student treatment plans
• Track student progress and prepare documentation as required by school policies
• Support classroom teachers and students with communication strategies and resources
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions as requested
• Uphold ethical, legal, and safety standards in providing student services
