Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and interpreting data
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEPs, and 504 plans
- Skilled communicator able to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Compassionate, student-focused approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with both direct and consultative services in school environments
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students
- Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support emotional and academic growth
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop educational plans
- Consult on behavioral interventions and strategies for students’ success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports
- Stay current on best practices and continuing education in school psychology
