Endocrinology - Physician - Albany, NY

Our organization is on the lookout for an Endocrinologist to become part of our well-established and successful practice located in Albany, New York. We welcome applications from both new and recent graduates, including those graduating in 2026. Join our dedicated team of seven Endocrinologists and ten Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). At our Diabetes and Endocrine Care center, we have a multidisciplinary team comprising endocrinologists, advanced practitioners, and Certified Diabetes Educators committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with diabetes. We focus on delivering innovative treatment approaches that empower our patients to effectively manage their condition.

• Our practice specializes in diagnosing, treating, and providing long-term care for patients with diabetes, as well as other endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• We utilize the latest diabetes care technologies, including insulin pump/sensor downloads and professional continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for accurate diagnosis.
• Our specialized services encompass complication screening, prevention and treatment, medication management, foot care, smoking cessation, onsite HbA1c testing, weight management, nutritional counseling, diabetes support groups, and both individual and group education classes.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

• Our practice caters exclusively to adult patients.
• The role primarily focuses on outpatient care, with a call schedule of 1:10, and additional inpatient call coverage only when inpatient providers are unavailable.
• Flexible scheduling options are available.
• We utilize EPIC as our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certified or eligible in Endocrinology.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience is preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• A competitive salary range of $270,000 to $280,000, with potential for additional earnings through productivity.
• A starting bonus of $25,000.
• A retention bonus package totaling $30,000.
• The stated salary reflects the initial compensation range and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, or other cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
