In your role as a Registered Nurse within the Family Birthing Center, you will be instrumental in assessing and monitoring the health of laboring patients and newborns. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and execute care plans, ensuring safe and effective treatment throughout the care process. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct patient care and observing responses during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Encouraging wellness for mothers through ongoing education and support
• Providing guidance to mothers on infant care and breastfeeding
• Recording all relevant events and educational information in the patient’s medical records
• Updating physicians and nursing supervisors on patient conditions
• Collaborating with nursery nurses in the care of mother-baby pairs
• Assisting physicians during procedures and supporting staff in emergency situations
• Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment within the Family Birthing Center

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
• BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory; ACLS certification is a plus
• At least an Associate’s Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
