Merit Health Natchez is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative inpatient medicine team in a flexible PRN capacity.

    Practice Environment: Collaborative, supportive inpatient hospital medicine setting

Core Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • \n

    Provide high-quality inpatient care and clinical management for hospitalized patients.

    • \n
  • \n

    Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, daily rounding, admissions, and discharge planning.

    • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate closely with attending hospitalist physicians, nursing staff, and medical specialists.

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Licensure: Active Mississippi NP or PA license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).

    • \n
  • \n

    Certification: Board Certification as an APP (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience: Inpatient or acute care experience preferred.

    • \n
  • \n

    Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented hospital setting.
