PAY & BENEFITS

• Pay Rate: $24.00 – $34.00 / hour based on experience
\n
• Per Diem: $100.00 / day for qualified travelers
\n

POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
\n The Low Voltage Installer will support the installation of critical data center infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optic systems, pathways, racks, and communication systems.

\n
• Install structured cabling systems including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling
\n
• Perform cable pulls, routing, dressing, labeling, and organization
\n
• Install cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, conduit, and pathway systems
\n
• Install and organize equipment racks, cabinets, and data center infrastructure
\n
• Perform fiber optic cable installation, termination, and testing
\n
• Perform copper cable termination and testing
\n
• Read and interpret low voltage drawings, blueprints, and installation plans
\n
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow data center installation standards
\n
• Work safely while meeting project schedule requirements
\n
• Coordinate with electrical contractors, foremen, and project teams
\n

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

\n
• Commercial low voltage installation experience
\n
• Experience with structured cabling systems
\n
• Ability to install and terminate copper and fiber cabling
\n
• Ability to read drawings and understand installation requirements
\n
• Experience working in large commercial construction environments
\n
• Strong safety awareness and quality workmanship
\n

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

\n
• Data center construction experience or mission-critical facility experience
\n
• Fiber optic certification or experience
\n
• BICSI training/certification
\n
• Experience with security systems, access control, CCTV, fire alarm systems, or building automation systems
\n
