Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Escondido, CA. This role supports a busy sales team through CRM management, quote preparation, reporting, sales operations coordination, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through are valued. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to a supportive sales organization, partner with cross-functional teams, and help improve systems, workflows, and customer-facing processes.
This position offers steady weekday hours, exposure to sales, marketing, CRM, QuickBooks, and trade show coordination, and the opportunity to work with both U.S. and international team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CRM data, including lead cleanup, territory assignments, lead distribution, and data accuracy.
- Support the sales team by reviewing, preparing, correcting, and improving quote templates and quote presentation quality.
- Schedule tasks, assign follow-ups, track activity, and help support the overall sales operations workflow.
- Communicate with sales representatives regarding client needs, including occasional calls, presentations, and customer support coordination.
- Generate and analyze reports using QuickBooks and CRM systems to support sales visibility and decision-making.
- Assist with marketing and trade show coordination, including customer emails, website feedback, booth applications, vendor communication, and marketing material submissions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $24 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Employment type: Direct hire
- Location: Escondido, CA.
