Locums Cardiology Physician in Lakeport, California - Rare Callbacks

Provide coverage in a mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings with a schedule designed around 2-3 weeks per month. This role offers a balanced practice with infrequent call-backs.

• Rare onsite call-backs with primarily phone consults
• Coverage scheduled 2-3 weeks per month
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
• Locum-to-permanent opportunity

• Manage adult and geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Evaluate heart failure, arrhythmia, hypertension, and other general cardiology conditions
• Perform ECHO reads, TEE, and supervise pacemaker placements
• No cath lab procedures required

• Typical daytime schedule with inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month
• Six-month assignment with locum-to-permanent focus
• Shared 1:2 call rotation with primarily phone consults

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Cardiology or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Active California medical license or willingness to obtain
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement available
• Travel arrangements are coordinated and reimbursed
