\n As a full-time, temp-to-hire Metal Fabrication Technician, you'll use arc welding techniques to remove gates and excess metal from precision castings, preparing parts for the next stage of production. \n

\n Metal Fabrication Technician Job Duties:\n
\n
    \n
  • Use a torch or rod to remove extra metal from cast parts
    • \n
  • Follow instructions to make clean cuts without damaging the parts
    • \n
  • Get parts ready for the next steps like cutting, grinding, or polishing
    • \n
  • Keep your tools and work area clean and in good condition
    • \n
  • Sort leftover metal for recycling
    • \n
\n

\n
\n Pay: $27.38 per hour\n
\n
\n
Schedule: Must be open to day, swing, and graveyard shifts \n
\n
    \n
  • Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am – 2:30pm
    • \n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n Metal Fabrication Technician Requirements:\n
\n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 months of experience using arc welding, air arc, or similar metal fabrication tools
    • \n
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or foundry environment and wearing required PPE
    • \n
  • Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal work instructions
    • \n
  • Basic math and measurement skills with strong attention to detail
    • \n
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
    • \n
