Occupational Therapist School Setting in San Antonio, NM

Make a meaningful impact as a school-based Occupational Therapist by supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade across a district-wide caseload. This full-time contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver specialized therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy to approximately 40 students, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and physically.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure from the State of New Mexico (required)
• Experience with school-based OT services and teletherapy practices
• Adept at collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience supervising a COTA preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels
• Develop individualized treatment plans, set therapy goals, and document progress
• Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote interventions
• Consult and coordinate with school staff and families to support student success
• Supervise and mentor the assigned COTA, providing clear guidance and support
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtfully to education planning
