Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse occupational therapy needs. Serve approximately 8 students, dedicating one day per week to providing expertise in both in-person and teletherapy sessions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services across a range of settings, including traditional school environments, home health, and virtual platforms. With an anticipated start date of August 10, 2026, your workday will be 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, making it ideal for those seeking consistent yet flexible commitment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid credentials in Occupational Therapy, with experience in school-based, home health, and/or teletherapy settings
- Experience developing and implementing individualized student plans
- Medicaid NCI # required
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
- Adaptability to provide both in-person and virtual services
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and evaluate students’ needs to develop tailored therapy plans
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions in accordance with each student’s IEP or established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress and maximize outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with Medicaid billing requirements
- Flexibly adapt service delivery to in-school, home, or virtual environments as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
