A school district near Oak Park, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse population of high school and transition-aged students in a collaborative educational environment. Candidates with experience serving older student populations are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Caseload
Approximately 30 students.
High school and transition-aged students.
Diverse range of student needs.
Qualifications
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
Previous experience with middle school, high school, or transition-aged students preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Education
Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
