What You'll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, with a strong understanding of IEP processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working independently; this role is not open to SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention
- Manage a capped caseload of up to 55 students, ensuring individualized support that targets students' unique needs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in coordination with families and educational staff
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing expertise to optimize student progress
- Track and document student outcomes and progress towards goals, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Stay current with best practices, regulations, and continuing education relevant to the school setting
