OB/GYN Hospitalist - Physician - Davenport, IA - 7 24-hour shifts per month
Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to become a part of our OB/GYN Hospitalist service located in Davenport, IA.
What We Offer- Full-time Employment: 7 in-house 24-hour shifts each month with a flexible schedule. Part-time and PRN options are also available.
- Patient Care: Manage OB and GYN emergencies in the emergency room and labor & delivery, care for unassigned patients, and handle transfers from smaller regional hospitals.
- Support Role: Provide backup call for the OB/GYN practice.
- Supervision: Oversee first and second-year family medicine residents and one FM-OB fellow.
- Births: Participate in approximately 1000+ births annually.
- NICU: Work in a Level II NICU with on-site neonatologists.
- Compensation: $4,709 per 24-hour on-site shift.
- Commencement Bonus: $150,000 upon joining.
- Loan Forgiveness: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000 available.
- CME Allowance: $6,000 for continuing education.

- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage provided.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Ability to secure and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa.
- Current state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the field.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates are encouraged to apply).
