Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty Position Available

Our organization is seeking a dedicated faculty member in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our General OB/GYN Division. We have a rich history of pioneering advancements in women's reproductive health care, including the development of the Apgar score, the first amniocentesis test in the nation, and the creation of RhoGAM, which has significantly reduced Rh-incompatibility complications.

Situated in the vibrant medical community of our institution, our team comprises over 100 physicians and more than 40 post-graduate residents and fellows. Together, we collaborate with researchers and clinicians to address the healthcare needs of women. Our commitment lies in delivering exceptional patient care, training future leaders in Ob/Gyn, supporting innovative research, and integrating these advancements into clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Manage general obstetrics and gynecology patients, including performing gynecologic surgeries.
• Engage in academic activities and contribute to the education of residents and medical students.
• Deliver care at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and various outpatient practices in Midtown and Washington Heights.
• Embrace opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and career advancement within an academic medical environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York Medical License.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified status.

• Exceptional communication skills, bedside manner, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various disciplines (RN, CNM, NP) and specialties.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
