Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Based near Londonderry, NH, this full-time role spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to work closely with a diverse caseload at the high school level (grades 9-12). Hours run Monday through Friday, from 7:10 am to 2:30 pm, aligning with the student schedule and ensuring a balanced workday. The daily structure follows an A/B day rotation with four 90-minute instructional blocks and a dedicated prep period.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with high school-aged students (grades 9-12).
  • Expertise in developing, managing, and implementing IEPs.
  • Proficiency in academic evaluations, data collection, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging families and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Preferred: Background in behavior management and experience with transition planning.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide specially designed instruction tailored to individual student needs.
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring compliance with all legal and educational requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct academic evaluations and maintain thorough progress records.
