Essential Qualifications:

  • Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP process, and response to intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral management techniques
  • Ability to provide culturally relevant and sensitive support to diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility recommendations for special education services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services for students
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to improve learning and social environments
  • Assist in creating crisis response strategies and provide support during emergencies
  • Foster positive working relationships within the school community
