School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Pendleton, South Carolina
Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students in an elementary school setting for the coming academic year, beginning August 10 and concluding June 4. Work closely with motivated educators and offer your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), guiding a caseload of approximately 45-60 students. With a streamlined schedule of 22.5 hours per week (8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), you’ll have ample time for work-life balance while making a meaningful impact onsite each day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is required
- Experience in working with K-8 populations, preferably within a school environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote/teletherapy not available)
- Candidates comfortable managing a diverse caseload of 45-60 students will excel
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in elementary and middle grades
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and communicate outcomes effectively
