About the Role

As an HR Assistant Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting recruitment and workforce planning initiatives across multiple on-site locations. Working closely with hiring managers, HR teams, and external partners, you'll ensure a seamless hiring process by managing applicant tracking systems, vendor management systems, reporting, and candidate coordination.

What You'll Do

As an HR Assistant Specialist, you will:

  • Support regional Human Resources teams with recruiting and administrative activities.

  • Manage job requisitions through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Vendor Management System (VMS).

  • Submit, monitor, and maintain contingent workforce requisitions.

  • Partner with hiring managers to gather requisition details and provide ongoing recruiting support.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ATS/VMS troubleshooting and user support.

  • Train HR teams and hiring managers on recruiting systems and best practices.

  • Generate and distribute recruiting, hiring, and workforce planning reports.

  • Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for direct hire positions.

  • Conduct HR phone screenings to evaluate candidate fit.

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and communication between candidates, hiring managers, and HR teams.

  • Follow up throughout the hiring process to ensure timely candidate movement.

  • Support workforce planning initiatives and special HR projects.

  • Travel between assigned on-site locations using your personal vehicle as business needs require.

  • Work approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime and schedule flexibility as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting recruiting processes and candidate coordination.

  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or Vendor Management Systems (VMS).

  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel locally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with IQNavigator (IQN) or similar Vendor Management Systems.

  • Experience supporting workforce planning or HR analytics.

  • Previous experience training system users or providing HR systems support.

  • Experience working with high-volume recruiting or enterprise HR operations.

Pay Details: $20.40 to $30.60 per hour
