Position: Travel ED Charge Nurse

Available Shifts: Days and Nights
Compensation: Gross pay ranges from $1,491.84 to $2,067.48 per week, translating to an hourly rate of $41.44 to $57.43.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

- Supervise ED operations and nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments effectively.
- Guide, mentor, and support the development of nursing staff.
- Assist with performance evaluations and HR-related tasks.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and overall unit readiness.
- Coordinate patient flow, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Address patient care issues and escalate concerns as necessary.
- Engage with patients and families to foster a positive experience.
- Provide direct patient care as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Education and Experience:
- Current and valid RN license in the state.
- Current BLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital, specifically in an Emergency Department setting.
- PALS certification (AHA) upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
We offer competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range of $41.44 to $57.43 for this role. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
