Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification in Michigan and relevant graduate degree
- Strong background in administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of psychological and educational assessments
- Experience conducting initial and reevaluations for special education
- Knowledge of and participation in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Familiarity with compliance requirements under state and federal education regulations
Lead Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for students in need
- Engage actively in special education eligibility discussions and present findings
- Attend and contribute to IEP and assessment meetings, maintaining clear communication to support student planning
- Consult with teaching staff and parents, offering strategies and insights to support student academic and behavioral needs
- Complete all required documentation accurately, ensuring legal and procedural compliance
- Share caseload responsibilities as part of a supportive network of school psychologists, serving a variety of grade levels
