Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school settings
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop customized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Work directly with students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and participation in classroom activities
  • Document progress and adjust interventions to support student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize educational outcomes
  • Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
  • Provide ongoing support, resources, and training for school staff and families
