As a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), you will play a pivotal part in helping K-12 students discover and develop their voices. With a manageable caseload cap of 55 students and no paraprofessional (SLPA) supervision required, this contract opportunity allows you to dedicate your expertise directly to the students who need it most.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Comfortable independently managing a diverse caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete speech and language evaluations for students as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address a variety of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy with classroom objectives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Provide creative therapy in both individual and group settings
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
