As a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), you will play a pivotal part in helping K-12 students discover and develop their voices. With a manageable caseload cap of 55 students and no paraprofessional (SLPA) supervision required, this contract opportunity allows you to dedicate your expertise directly to the students who need it most.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active California SLP license
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
  • Comfortable independently managing a diverse caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete speech and language evaluations for students as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address a variety of communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy with classroom objectives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Provide creative therapy in both individual and group settings
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
