Join Our Team as an Obstetric Hospitalist

Our organization is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetric Hospitalist to become part of our outstanding team of collaborative physicians in the Northern Illinois area!

Opportunity Overview
  • Location: Freeport, Illinois
  • Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position
  • Work Environment: 100% inpatient care
  • Shifts: Eight 24-hour shifts each month
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage labor and delivery, including cesarean sections
    • Conduct inpatient rounding and discharges
    • Collaborate with our Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU located in Rockford, IL
    • Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral sources
  • No On-Call Duties!
  • Electronic Medical Records: EPIC system
  • Organization Type: 501(c)(3) non-profit
Qualifications
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
  • A minimum of three years of inpatient experience is required
  • MD/DO board certified or board eligible
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $180.00
