Join Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) and provide onsite Interventional Radiology services at a medical center in San Antonio, Texas.

\n

This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-through-Friday onsite schedule during normal business hours. Physicians will perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with the medical centers clinical teams.

\n

The position also includes participation in after-hours on-call and callback coverage.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Perform a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures.
  • \n
  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  • \n
  • Evaluate patients and determine the appropriate course of treatment.
  • \n
  • Demonstrate competency across a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
  • \n
  • Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and promptly.
  • \n
  • Follow applicable clinical, safety, quality, and facility protocols.
  • \n
  • Participate in after-hours on-call and callback coverage.
  • \n
  • Maintain all required credentials, certifications, training, and continuing medical education.
  • \n

Qualifications and Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
  • \n
  • Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • \n
  • No restricted, suspended, revoked, surrendered, or denied medical license
  • \n
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration, or DEA, registration
  • \n
  • Current National Provider Identifier, or NPI
  • \n
  • Current Basic Life Support, or BLS, certification
  • \n
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, or ACLS, certification
  • \n
  • Successful completion of all credentialing and privileging requirements before starting
  • \n
  • Current continuing medical education and completion of all required annual training
  • \n
  • Required immunizations and tuberculosis screening
  • \n
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • \n
  • Demonstrated competency in a broad range of interventional radiology procedures
  • \n

Compensation and Employment Structure

\n

This position may be structured as either W-2 employment or a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, depending on the physicians preference and GLIs operational needs.

\n

  • Compensation for both structures begins at the same starting rate.
  • \n
  • W-2 compensation may range from $275 to $315 per hour.
  • \n
  • 1099 compensation may range from $275 to $360 per hour.
  • \n
  • Final compensation will depend on the selected employment structure, experience, qualifications, schedule, call responsibilities, and other position-specific factors.
  • \n
  • GLI provides medical malpractice insurance coverage for both W-2 employees and 1099 independent contractors.
  • \n
