Step into a rewarding role supporting the academic and emotional well-being of elementary students as a full-time School Psychologist at a vibrant K-4 school. You will play a vital part in fostering a positive learning environment in a close-knit setting, serving approximately 500 students with a focus on both evaluation and occasional counseling.

What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid and current School Psychologist certification (applicable for the area)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-age students is preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and individualized educational planning
  • Compassionate communication and collaborative approach with students, staff, and families
  • Flexibility to address a variety of student needs, from evaluations to brief counseling
  • Ability to work the 7:45 AM – 3:20 PM schedule during the school year

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in grades K–4
  • Write clear, insightful reports and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
  • Deliver short-term, solution-focused counseling as needed
  • Support school-wide initiatives, wellness efforts, and crisis interventions when necessary
  • Respond to student needs with compassion, expertise, and practical recommendations
