Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Our organization is under new leadership and is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team in Syracuse, NY.

• Oversee all supervisory functions within the unit.

• Develop and implement employee policies and procedures.

• Guide and mentor junior nursing staff, providing clinical and career guidance.

• Set and uphold the standards of care for the unit.

• Evaluate resident records and the quality of care provided.

• Monitor overall patient care and assess individual resident cases.

• Address inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families.

• Ensure the department is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies.

• Advocate for the unit’s needs with upper management.

• At least 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Unit Manager.

• Must possess a valid RN License.

• Basic proficiency in computer skills.

• Excellent communication abilities.
