SRT/Direct Connection - Design Systems Engineer - Propulsion Engineering

Direct Connection is expanding its OEM‐grade performance parts portfolio. This position is responsible for developing, validating, and releasing performance parts for the Direct Connection catalog. This includes vehicle-based performance upgrades as well as providing support for Mopar/DC Crate Engine team. The position will work to ensure that assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components meet program objectives for cost, weight, performance, quality, manufacturing, and timing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of aftermarket performance hardware for Direct Connection
\n
• Support Crate Engine team with hardware engineering, validation and sign-off
\n
• Ensure compliance with Stellantis applicable design standards
\n
• Engage with suppliers, attend feasibility reviews, and ensure validation readiness
\n
• Ensure accurate BOMs, engineering documentation, and release packages for catalog launch
\n
• Support internal and external performance shops for concept development and prototype evaluation
\n
• Define validation requirements for performance upgrades, track testing, and approve test results.
