The ideal candidate will have strong experience in numerical processing, benefits calculations, and account reviews and a proven ability to deliver accurate pension benefit determinations, meet deadlines, and handle confidential member information.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform retirement account reviews across all funds.
  • Process retirement benefit calculations and recalculations based on updated member information.
  • Set up benefit recipients in the processing system.
  • Handle simple service credit inquiries.
  • Process plan-to-plan service transfers.
  • Conduct initial death reviews and terminate accounts as appropriate.
  • Prepare monthly disability and continuing education correspondence to verify eligibility for benefits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient oral and written communication skills for internal and external customers.
  • Strong organization skills to manage workflow, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in pension plan administration.
  • Experience working with numbers in banking, loans, or similar financial environments.

Role Logistics:

  • Interview process: Virtual interview followed by in-person.
  • Work arrangement: 100% on-site.
  • Maximum bill rate: $28.68.
